Senior ASP.NET Developer/Architect @ Marex Group

If you have the passion to architect and develop innovative solutions and want to be a key player in an exciting transformation, we have an opportunity for you.  We are currently seeking an experienced web application developer/architect, who has a combination of strong technical knowledge with a talent for designing and architecting user friendly solutions with the latest technology.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Analyze, design, architect and develop scalable solutions on the Microsoft .NET platform.
• Work with design team to create customer friendly solutions.
• Lead team of developers to implement solution.
• Assist in debugging and troubleshooting.
• Communicate with customers and internal resources to complete assignments to customer satisfaction.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5+ years experience in web application design and development
• 3+ years experience programming in ASP.NET, VB.NET and/or C#
• Experience with Web technologies such as HTML, JavaScript and AJAX preferred
• Experience working with (creating and consuming) web services required
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with MVC framework preferred
• Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing to employees, customers and partners
• Proven ability to lead small teams to successful completion of projects
• Ability to work independently and exercise initiative and good judgment
• Handle multiple, concurrent tasks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree from four year college or university or MCP preferred but not required (equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements).
